**Job Summary**

The Route Sales Representative is a key member of the Peet's team, responsible for delivering fresh products to grocery customers within a specific route. This role requires strong relationships with store management to increase Peet's visibility within accounts.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Forecasting and Ordering**: Accurately forecast and order weekly inventory to meet customer demands.
  • **Merchandising**: Ensure proper inventory, pricing, and date code rotation on store displays.
  • **Customer Service**: Comply with customers' scheduled receiving hours and policies.
  • **Route Management**: Manage a specific route, including early morning working hours and extensive driving time.
  • **In-Store Displays**: Build and maintain attractive in-store displays.
  • **Inventory Management**: Manage point-of-sale inventory and maintain accurate records.
  • **Business Development**: Solicit new accounts fitting Peet's approved profile and sell special programs to store owners and managers.
  • **Equipment Maintenance**: Keep all company-supplied equipment clean and serviced, including Peet's van, warehouse, and POS.
  • **Reporting**: Complete all required reports and paperwork.

**Requirements**

  • **Experience**: Prior DSD/truck-to-store sales experience.
  • **Communication**: Good verbal communication skills.
  • **Safety**: Clean DMV record and insurability.
  • **Independence**: Ability to work independently in various settings.
