Job Overview

We are currently seeking an Operations Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operational functions and activities.
  • Supervise a team of up to 50 employees across multiple shifts.
  • Guarantee complete customer satisfaction by achieving performance targets, focusing on critical areas such as safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, workforce development, environmental standards, attendance, and employee retention.
  • Ensure timely delivery of services and products.
  • Maintain high standards of quality assurance.
  • Coordinate accurate sequencing in collaboration with clients and suppliers.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, revise existing work protocols, and effectively communicate updates to team members.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, team leaders, group leaders, and administrative personnel.
  • Implement a comprehensive training program that is transparent to clients, ensuring all operational procedures are documented and understood by all team members.
  • Foster a safety-first culture, demonstrating a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and making necessary adjustments to operations.
  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Operations Supervisor role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing large teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to management.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and promoting workplace diversity.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
