Position Overview

EPC Services Company, a prominent engineering consultancy and construction firm in the power and utility sector, is seeking experienced Project Managers to join our dynamic team.

This role is pivotal for professionals adept in overseeing the construction of high and medium voltage power delivery projects. The Project Manager is responsible for providing essential leadership and management throughout the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phases of turnkey projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale client programs and EPC project schedules.
  • Define project scope and manage changes effectively.
  • Oversee structured project communications and financial controls.
  • Prepare bids and proposals, and handle procurement and purchasing.
  • Ensure safety management and direct field construction activities.
  • Administer general project operations and mentor assistant project managers.

Travel may be necessary to monitor and control construction activities.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management, along with a minimum of 5 years of project management experience on complex projects exceeding $5 million. Alternatively, a combination of relevant education and experience in high-voltage electrical systems is acceptable. Prior experience in electrical design for substations or switchyards is advantageous.

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent organizational capabilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Familiarity with Vista (Viewpoint) software is a plus.
