Position Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Financial Analyst to play a crucial role in driving our business success. This position will focus on enhancing our operational efficiency and profitability by developing key performance metrics, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing effective solutions while adhering to budget constraints.

This multifaceted role involves engaging with various business segments, including project controlling, R&D cost management, and financial oversight of P&L and balance sheets. The Financial Analyst will alternate between tasks such as financial forecasting and invoicing, as well as creating complex pricing models to support our leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate monthly business forecasts based on project inputs and other business areas.
  • Conduct in-depth trend and variance analyses during the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate P&L and balance sheet reporting.
  • Validate the accuracy of monthly financials prior to closing.
  • Provide preliminary financial insights to management, highlighting key performance drivers.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop monthly closing commentary and identify variance drivers.
  • Perform account reconciliations and participate in quarterly audits, maintaining critical controls around closing activities.
  • Analyze historical and trend data on essential business components such as volume, gross profit, and cash flow.
  • Develop intricate pricing models and business models, analyzing capital and operational expenditures.
  • Deliver financial impact assessments to business leaders based on various operational models.
  • Monitor labor bookings and resource allocations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Proficient in digitalization and automation tools, including Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience with monthly closing processes, budgeting, forecasting, and diverse financial analyses.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong networking and collaboration abilities, with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Experience with SAP, Tableau, and Power BI is a plus.
