Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Financial Analyst who will play a crucial role in enhancing our business operations. This position is vital for driving continuous improvement in processes, increasing transparency, reducing costs, and maximizing profitability. You will be responsible for developing key performance indicators that highlight areas for enhancement, conducting root cause analyses, implementing effective solutions, and tracking progress towards our objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive monthly business forecast incorporating inputs from various projects.
  • Conduct in-depth trend and variance analyses during the monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy in P&L and Balance Sheet analytics.
  • Validate the accuracy of monthly financial reports prior to closing.
  • Provide preliminary insights to management regarding monthly financial outcomes, identifying key drivers.
  • Collaborate with different business areas to derive commentary and explanations for monthly closing variances.
  • Execute account reconciliations and participate in quarterly audit activities, maintaining critical controls around financial closing processes.
  • Perform historical and trend analyses on significant business metrics such as volume, gross profit, SG&A, and cash flow.
  • Develop complex pricing models and business models, analyzing capital and operational expenditures as well as revenue trends.
  • Deliver financial impact assessments to business leaders based on varying business models.
  • Monitor labor bookings to ensure alignment with financial forecasts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis.
  • Proficient in digitalization and automation tools, including Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience with monthly closing activities, budgeting, forecasting, and various financial analyses.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent networking and collaboration skills, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation abilities.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and optimizing operational performance.
  • Experience with SAP, Tableau, and Power BI is a plus.
