Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at PrideStaff Financial. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for processing business activity, producing financial reports, and reviewing and approving accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

  • Process business activity through the general ledger to the financial statements on a cash and accrual basis.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for all cash accounts, create journal entries, and maintain accrual schedules.
  • Produce timely and accurate monthly financial reports.
  • Assist in setting up bank accounts, financial reports, and any additional accounting systems or software.
  • Review and approve all accounts payable, payment disbursements.
  • Prepare, review, and assist with annual recovery reconciliations and estimated billings.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts with supporting schedules monthly.
  • Prepare monthly standard reporting packages and respond to managers' and clients' inquiries.
  • Assist with annual budgets, prepare audit packages, and provide lender reports as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • AA in Accounting, Finance or Economics Required, BA/BS Strongly Preferred
  • Through understanding of GAAP and multi-entity accounting is a plus
  • Demonstrates exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and driven by deadlines
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of MS Office, Excel, and Google Apps such as Gmail, Docs, and Sheets
  • Highly analytical and possesses superb attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills
