About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team at 020 Travelers Indemnity Co. As a critical member of our organization, you will provide complex administrative support to senior management, ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively handle complex administrative assignments, relieving senior management of routine details.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in facilitating overall department operations.
  • Direct the activities of other support staff as necessary.
  • Coordinate inter-departmental or department-wide administrative projects, including communications, services, and policy development.
  • Manage complex scheduling, including internal, external, and department-wide events.
  • Prepare and submit expense accounts and other expenses.
  • Manage and track actual expenses versus budget for senior management's area of responsibility.
  • Regularly interact with internal and external executives, community leaders, and shareholders.
  • Initiate follow-up actions as needed.
  • Utilize conflict resolution skills via phone and in person.
  • Initiate, develop, and make decisions regarding office practices and procedures within authority level.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Advanced skill level required in all Microsoft Office applications, including complicated Excel spreadsheets.
  • Utilize multiple software packages to prepare highly confidential correspondence and complex documents.
  • Independently design advanced spreadsheets, graphics, presentations, and database applications.
