About the Role

In the capacity of Legal Research and Content Specialist, your key responsibilities will encompass:
  • Developing, managing, and executing the content maintenance strategy for designated legal areas
  • Conducting legal research and editorial activities to refresh existing Practical Guidance materials
  • Keeping abreast of current legal developments and changes
  • Creating or modifying content, including templates, practice notes, and checklists
  • Leading and implementing Practical Guidance content enhancement initiatives aimed at elevating user experience
  • Gaining a comprehensive understanding of editorial protocols and style standards while upholding best practices
  • Enhancing operational efficiency by standardizing processes, documenting workflows, and recommending continuous improvements in editorial practices
  • Achieving or surpassing production and quality benchmarks
  • Engaging in training sessions as necessary and undertaking additional assignments as required
Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role should possess:
  • A Juris Doctorate degree along with a minimum of two years of experience in bankruptcy and/or finance law
  • Exceptional analytical, legal research, and writing capabilities
  • Proficiency in maintaining an organized workflow while ensuring meticulous attention to detail
  • Familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style and Bluebook citation guidelines
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving business requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A technical aptitude and a passion for continuous learning
