We are in search of a Technical Support Analyst (Data/Reports) to become part of our continuously evolving team, assisting us in unlocking the potential of every business.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate user requirements to ascertain ERP system configuration and/or customization, assess the necessity for system modifications, conduct cost/benefit analyses, and create technical designs for recognized customizations.
• Review system specifications and utilize advanced analysis tools to depict business and technical processes within a system solution.
• Develop application pages, queries, programs, and reports to meet business requirements.
• Code individual modules and functions as identified through technical design, formulate conversion and implementation strategies, and ensure the successful execution of ERP system modifications while monitoring for enhanced efficiency.
• Proactively ensure optimal application and system performance, collaborating with the ERP Systems Architect to resolve any performance challenges.
• Create and execute comprehensive technical and functional test plans to verify that ERP system modifications function correctly, including the use of batch scripts, online processes, databases, or interface files.
• Implement new application solutions, modifications, or enhancements to ERP modules or the overall system using Release Management tools and/or processes.
• Ensure that migrated changes are accurately executed and accessible to users.
• Collaborate with ERP Business Analysts and/or other internal professionals to define detailed requirements, analyze business needs, and validate solutions with clients, translating them into configuration and/or customization technical designs.
• Through research and knowledge of ERP systems and applications, identify the most effective technical strategies to define and resolve identified issues with minimal client disruption.
• Propose innovative alternative solutions to challenges within ERP systems and applications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Educational Background
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable combination of education, training, or work experience.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Strong understanding of ERP system customization and recognized best practices.
• Proficient knowledge of business process flows within an ERP system.
• Experience in full life cycle development with a focus on incremental and iterative development and deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP system development tools and languages, along with a comprehensive understanding of ERP system configuration and security.
• Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to exercise judgment in decision-making processes related to job responsibilities.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, presented in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Capability to comprehend and apply technical concepts.
• Proficient in problem-solving using acquired techniques and tools.
• Strong teamwork skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Demonstrates flexibility, versatility, and reliability.
