Job Title: Youth Development Specialist

Comprehensive Community Action (CCAP) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Learn 2 Earn program, you will play a vital role in empowering youth and young adults to achieve their education and employment goals.

Job Summary:

The Youth Development Specialist will provide case management services to youth and young adults aged 14-24, ensuring they receive a coordinated range of client-centered services to complete employment and education programs. You will work closely with clients to develop and guide them through a service plan, track progress, and provide support to overcome challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management services to youth and young adults, including comprehensive intake and assessments, monitoring of cases, and advocacy for needed services.
  • Develop and guide youth through a service plan, ensuring they meet their education and employment goals.
  • Track and record case information, complete forms, and produce monthly attendance and case note reports.
  • Answer inquiries from potential program partners and incoming youth.
  • Develop ways to retain youth through motivation and encouragement.
  • Outreach and network with other youth-serving programs and high schools.
Requirements:
  • Associates or bachelor's degree preferred, with 2-year experience in a related field and/or relevant life experiences.
  • Demonstrated case management skills and experience, knowledge of youth development, and experience working with inner-city youth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and strong knowledge of Microsoft and Google platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle liability insurance.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all material in accordance with State and Federal law and CCAP policies and procedures.
