Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for:

  • Executing repairs on various vehicle components, including door skins and quarter panels.
  • Performing assembly and disassembly of vehicle parts.
  • Realigning car frames and chassis to rectify structural damage.
  • Repairing minor body damage through techniques such as hammering or patching.
  • Utilizing welding skills for effective repairs.
  • Preparing surfaces for refinishing by grinding, sanding, buffing, and priming.
  • Planning parts requirements for repairs.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must demonstrate:

  • Strong independent problem-solving abilities.
  • Collaboration with Service Advisors and/or Managers to develop repair plans.
  • Thorough identification of necessary repairs to minimize additional costs and reduce cycle time.
  • Expertise in completing repairs efficiently while adhering to high-quality standards and safety protocols.
  • Proficiency in operating specialized tools such as MIG welders and riveting guns.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
