Job Title: Breast Surgical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

Rush University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Breast Surgical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider to join our team. As a key member of our Department of Surgery, you will provide high-quality, comprehensive care to patients with breast cancer.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop patient care plans
  • Order and interpret tests, treatments, and therapies within the scope of practice
  • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances to the extent delegated
  • Provide direct patient care in assigned areas, including outpatient coverage at Rush University Medical Center and its satellite locations
Requirements:
  • Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant Licensure
  • Current Certification from National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal and communication skills
