Job Title: Breast Surgical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

Rush University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Department of Surgery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in breast surgical oncology and be able to work collaboratively with our team of physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with breast cancer and other related conditions.
  • Work closely with our surgical oncology team to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history and physical examinations, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant Licensure.
  • Current Certification from National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in nursing.
  • Strong work ethic, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with our team.
