Job Title: Veterinary Business Development Field Leader

About the Role:

VetEvolve VA, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Business Development Field Leader to drive the growth and success of our network of General Practice and Emergency veterinary hospitals in the mid-Atlantic region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with veterinary hospital owners and key decision-makers to identify and cultivate potential partner practices.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
  • Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and digital marketing efforts.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact and relationship building to negotiation and closing, ensuring a smooth transition and integration for acquired practices.
  • Clearly articulate and present VetEvolve's value proposition to potential partners, tailoring the proposition to address the specific needs and concerns of each potential partner.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective partners.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure seamless execution of partnerships, providing input and support during due diligence and integration processes.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including lead generation, pipeline activity, and acquisition success rates, providing regular updates to the Executive Leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the veterinary industry.
  • Strong understanding and appreciation of the veterinary industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex negotiations and close partnerships.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software.

Travel: Frequent (up to 75%)
