About the Role

The Veterinary Relationship Manager is a key position at Covetrus, responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with veterinary customers. This role requires a proactive and in-person sales approach to identify and address customer needs, pain points, and opportunities to optimize and improve the adoption of existing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow and retain customer relationships, driving revenue and gross profit growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Veterinary Account Executives to identify and pursue VetSuite opportunities, maximizing growth potential and customer value.
  • Act as a primary customer liaison for implementation and onboarding processes, ensuring seamless transitions and a positive customer experience.
  • Analyze internal reports to optimize customer utilization, identify growth opportunities, and guide sales team efforts.
  • Maintain critical data and customer updates within SFDC to effectively track and support the sales process and customer relationships.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience in sales, account management, or similar roles within the veterinary or healthcare industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization and effectively pull through business.
  • Ability to understand, translate, and respond to customer needs/objectives with differentiated offers and solutions that Covetrus can deliver.
  • Consistently meets sales goals, showcasing a basic understanding of the sales process, client needs, and effective relationship-building strategies.
Work Environment
  • Travel daily for field visits, meetings, and training; travel may vary depending on region.
  • Attendance at annual national and relevant regional sales meetings is required.
  • Occasional night/weekend travel may be necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or similar roles within the veterinary industry is strongly preferred.
