About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team at the Exceptional Children's Foundation. As a key member of our Early Start program, you will play a critical role in providing services and developing service plans for children with developmental delays and their families.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to assess the needs of children and develop strategies to support their growth and development. You will also provide training and supervision to social workers and interns, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality services to our clients.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this role is the opportunity to work directly with families and help them navigate the complexities of the early childhood system. You will work closely with parents and caregivers to understand their needs and concerns, and provide them with the support and resources they need to help their children thrive.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess the needs of children and develop service plans
- Provide training and supervision to social workers and interns
- Work with families to identify resources and support needed to promote child development
- Develop and implement programs to support family engagement and empowerment

Requirements

- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- 2 years of experience working with children with developmental delays or similar population
- Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish or English/Armenian)

What We Offer

- Competitive salary: $64,480 - $70,000 per year
