  • Lead the mechanical development team to design and implement the Proteowise instrument and fluidic devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Software Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Optical Engineers, Biologists, and Chemists, to ensure successful system implementation.
  • Work closely with Manufacturing and Quality teams to transfer manufacturable designs.
  • Partner with Industrial design teams to faithfully implement the Proteowise vision.
Requirements
  • Fluency in mechanical system design and debugging methods, with experience in producing mechanical parts and subsystems in-house and using 3rd party suppliers.
  • Expertise in Solidworks and experience with fluidic analyses and simulations.
  • Successful track record of commercial launch, especially launching fluidic, microfluid disposables.
  • BS Mechanical or BS Biomedical Engineer degree, with MS or PhD a plus.
  • 5 years industry experience, with more experience a plus.
