Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in industrial automation to join our team at Next Level Business Services, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, industrial automation, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop industrial automation systems, including machine specifications and assembly equipment technologies.
  • Review and modify custom tooling, fixtures, gages, and components using CREO.
  • Apply Lean Principles and/or 6 Sigma Methodology to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions.
Requirements
  • BS Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial automation and manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles, including balance tables, process flow diagrams, and ergonomic designs.
  • Experience with equipment and line process validations (IQ / OQ / PQ / MSA's).
  • Working knowledge of GD&T, FMEA, DFA, and DFM principles.
  • Experience with statistical analysis, including capability, process control, DOE's, control charts, and Minitab.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with control systems, PLC logic, and vision systems.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Principles and/or 6 Sigma Methodology.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, project management, and presentation skills.
