Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic to become a part of our Meineke team. As a key member, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various vehicles, ensuring they are in top condition for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain automobiles, trucks, and other motor vehicles to the highest standards
  • Diagnose engine and driveability concerns, brakes, and tires to identify and resolve issues efficiently
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, to prevent breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan
  • Conduct Connecticut State emissions testing to ensure vehicles meet regulatory requirements
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to test vehicle components and identify areas for improvement
  • Perform quality inspections before returning vehicles to customers, guaranteeing satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an auto mechanic is required, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • A clean and valid driver's license is mandatory for this role
  • Connecticut State Emissions certification is a plus, demonstrating expertise and commitment to excellence
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are essential for success in this position
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
