Position: Security Analyst (GRC) (On-site from Day One)

Location: Boca Raton, FL | Duration: Long Term

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in IT Audit (CISA certification is preferred).
  • 3 years of experience in the IT Risk Management lifecycle.
  • 3 years of hands-on technical experience (e.g., developer, system administrator).
  • Familiarity with NIST Risk Assessment Standards.
  • Extensive experience in evaluating and designing IT General Controls.
  • Advanced skills in business process mapping, documentation, and policy development.
  • Recent experience in Information Security with a strong understanding of the current threat landscape.
  • Solid knowledge of PCI DSS standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct reviews related to PCI, SOC2, ISO, and relevant Client cybersecurity controls to ensure compliance with established standards and security policies.
  • Plan and execute assessments of IT security controls effectiveness, managing remediation efforts for identified gaps.
  • Maintain an IT security risk and compliance matrix, providing management reporting on IT systems controls and business process risks.
  • Oversee the Third Party Risk Management Program (TPRM), analyzing SOC-2 and other reports to map to key IT security and compliance controls.
  • Manage the IT security vulnerabilities management program in alignment with PCI and NIST standards.
  • Identify and prioritize the value, sensitivity, and criticality of operations and assets to assess potential impacts of threats.
  • Estimate potential losses or damages for critical assets and operations in the event of a threat materializing.
  • Identify cost-effective strategies to mitigate and reduce risks, including the implementation of new policies and technical controls.
  • Coordinate, track, and verify the remediation of audit findings.
  • Document results and develop action plans for mitigating identified risks.
  • Produce formal audit reports in accordance with ISACA Audit Standards.
  • Promote compliance with regulatory requirements and IT best practices.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Certifications

  • CISA and CISSP certifications are preferred.
