Position: Security Analyst (GRC) (On-site from Day One)

Location: Boca Raton, FL | Duration: Long Term

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience in IT Audit (CISA certification preferred).
  • 3 years of experience in IT Risk Management lifecycle.
  • 3 years of hands-on technical experience (e.g., developer, system administrator).
  • Familiarity with NIST Risk Assessment Standards.
  • Extensive experience in evaluating and designing IT General Controls.
  • Advanced skills in business process mapping, documentation, and policy/procedure development.
  • Recent experience in Information Security with a solid understanding of the current threat landscape.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of PCI DSS standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct reviews related to PCI, SOC2, ISO, and relevant Client cybersecurity controls to ensure compliance with standards and Client security policies.
  • Plan and execute IT security controls effectiveness assessments. Oversee remediation efforts for identified gaps, including the evaluation of newly implemented controls.
  • Maintain an IT security risk and compliance matrix, performing management reporting that includes IT systems controls and business process risks to meet compliance requirements. Offer risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage the Third Party Risk Management Program (TPRM) and analyze SOC-2 and other reports, mapping them to key IT security and compliance controls such as NIST, PCI, and COBIT.
  • Oversee the IT security vulnerabilities management program in alignment with PCI and NIST standards.
  • Identify and prioritize the value, sensitivity, and criticality of operations and assets that could be impacted by potential threats.
  • Estimate potential losses or damages for the most critical assets and operations, including recovery costs.
  • Identify cost-effective measures to mitigate and reduce risks, which may involve implementing new organizational policies and procedures or designing technical or physical controls.
  • Coordinate, track, and verify the remediation of audit findings.
  • Document results and develop action plans for mitigating identified risks.
  • Produce formal audit reports in accordance with ISACA Audit Standards.
  • Promote compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI DSS) and IT best practices.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Certifications

  • CISA and CISSP certifications are preferred.
