Compensation and Benefits: The hourly wage for this role is $31, with competitive wages based on experience. Job Description: We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in our crisis support homes for adults with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Augusta, Georgia. As an LPN, you will work closely with the treatment team to provide direct care to individuals residing in our Transitional Home. Your responsibilities will include administering medication, giving injections, and maintaining a safe and secure inventory of medication. You will also help individuals with activities of daily living, ensure healthy meals and snacks, and document any changes in their progress or conditions.
Required Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have a valid unrestricted Georgia Nursing License, certification and ongoing training in crisis intervention curriculum, valid CPR and First Aid Certification, and experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or mental illness who are in crisis. Knowledge of DBHDD community provider standards and policies is also essential. A valid Driver's License and auto insurance are required.
