Dealership Accountant I

Are you passionate about numbers and detail-oriented? Our dealership is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Dealership Accountant I. This entry-level role ensures timely, accurate recording of dealership transactions and offers a pathway to exciting career opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Submit and record service and warranty contracts
  • Record new and used car purchases and dealer trades
  • Process lien payoffs and cash receipts
  • Handle regional check runs and vendor invoices
  • Reconcile FTC and manufacturer monies (parts, warranty, incentives)
  • Post to intercompany accounts

Qualifications:

  • Team player with a customer service focus
  • Critical thinker with strong time management
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge (COA, debits, credits)
  • High School Diploma required
  • Auto industry experience preferred
