About the Role

The Business Development Associate plays a critical role in our sales process, focusing on creating and qualifying early interest in Arbolus from key accounts in the Private Equity space. This entry-level sales role works closely with a business development manager to address their territory and create a strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research the deals market to create high-value interactions with prospective clients
  • Create qualified sales opportunities through prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and attending conferences
  • Understand the challenges faced by clients and the market
  • Tell the Arbolus story and help prospects understand how Arbolus addresses their unique needs
  • Conduct ongoing discovery to improve our understanding of key accounts
  • Iterate and improve strategy and tactics to deliver high-quality leads for the sales team
  • Refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) in your segment while collaborating with the sales team to penetrate targeted accounts

About You

We seek a dynamic and motivated individual with a genuine interest in the world of investing, who can build a career in a client-facing commercial role. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks within a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to speak with stakeholders at all professional levels
  • Native level of English; any other European language is a plus
  • Some knowledge of, and a genuine interest in, the Private Equity or Hedge Fund space
  • Strong academic background
