Business Development Associate

As a Business Development Associate at Universal Processing, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, serving as the brand ambassador for our company. Your primary responsibility will be to introduce our business solutions to clients, gathering leads, conducting cold calls, and scheduling appointments to develop new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather leads and conduct cold calls to develop new business
- Engage conversations with small-to-medium-sized business owners to introduce products and services
- Obtain business information and input lead data into databases
- Gather credit card processing statements for pricing analysis
- Follow up with potential clients to further engage business opportunities
- Manage the business pipeline and develop a payment strategy for long-term success
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or related field
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and analytical abilities
- Ability to be well-spoken and confidently connect with potential clients
