Role Overview:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of IT programs and services. This includes developing solutions to interoperability challenges and designing, implementing, and managing IT security systems that align with both current and future business needs. Responsibilities also encompass optimizing existing architectures, managing projects, translating complex technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders, and preparing comprehensive briefings for senior management on intricate issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts analysis across various data domains, devising strategies to minimize data redundancy while enhancing data availability and accessibility through collaboration with technical teams, ultimately delivering a sustainable and reusable data architecture.
  • Evaluates data attributes from diverse systems to create Common Information Models, governing decisions related to data model design, access patterns, and data services.
  • Designs and develops databases, data warehouses, and multidimensional data stores.
  • Maintains data models and formulates strategies for data acquisition, archival, recovery, and implementation of databases/data stores.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to align enterprise vision with the necessary architecture to achieve organizational goals.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in developing enterprise architectures and their components.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in Federal Government enterprise architecture development and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in formulating IT strategies, business architectures, and technology architectures, as well as conducting portfolio rationalization analyses using EA tools.
  • Deep expertise in cybersecurity, with the ability to adapt Zero Trust architecture into evolving enterprise solutions.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a Technical Reference Model (TRM).
  • Proficient in solution architecture across various domains, including cloud application migration, cloud storage design, and disaster recovery.
  • Subject matter expertise in IT infrastructure, supported by relevant certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, and CCSP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Department of Treasury or other Federal Agencies is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and design methodologies.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification accredited by PMBOK/PMI.
  • Local candidates are preferred.

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Training:

  • Enterprise Architecture certification, such as the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), is mandatory.
  • CISSP certification, including ISSAP, ISSMP, or ISSEP, is required.
