Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide expert consultation to client projects and product teams regarding the design of cloud-based infrastructures for their applications and the transition from legacy systems to cloud environments.

Important Note:

**This position necessitates an existing NSA Top Secret Clearance and Polygraph**

Technical Expertise Required: Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Cloud Architecture Principles, Cloud Storage Solutions, and Data Storage Technologies (RDS, DynamoDB, AWS S3, or Azure Storage).
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the current IT landscape of clients, pinpointing challenges and opportunities for enhancement, and factors to consider when developing a Cloud-based IT strategy.
  • Offer comprehensive cloud guidance and recommendations throughout the entire process of implementing cloud services tailored to specific requirements.
  • Assess user needs, operational documents, and overarching system architectures to formulate system requirements specifications.
  • Lead the analysis of system requirements and oversee design and development efforts. Assist users in defining requirements, propose alternative solutions, and conduct feasibility assessments.
  • Provide technical direction for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, ensuring seamless incorporation of new plans and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Develop system architecture and design documentation.
  • Facilitate system development and implementation planning through the preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and testing plans.
  • Engage with government representatives concerning Systems Engineering technical matters and related challenges.
  • Hold ultimate accountability for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables within the Systems Engineering domain.
  • Communicate effectively with program personnel, government stakeholders, and senior management.
Qualifications Required:
  • Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen.
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph is mandatory.
  • A minimum of twenty (20) years of experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Proven experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering initiatives.
  • A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of additional Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
