Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Kedren Community Health Center Inc. As a key member of our healthcare delivery system, this role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients, verify reason for visit, and confirm appointments
  • Verify patient information, collect copayments, and schedule appointments
  • Answer telephones, direct calls to staff, and greet visitors
  • Compile and record medical charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Interview patients to complete registration packets and privacy forms
  • Distribute and collect patient satisfaction surveys, process daily cash payments, and provide support for patients with issues
  • Discharge patients, instruct new patients to bring necessary paperwork, and maintain a clean and presentable waiting room
  • Participate in patient-centered skill trainings, seminars, and care team collaboration

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a medical office
  • Excellent customer service and patient care skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple functions
  • Understanding of community-based organizations and ability to relate to diverse patient populations
