About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process guest arrivals and departures, handling check-in and check-out procedures, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Manage guest room assignments, ensuring that guests are allocated rooms that meet their needs and preferences.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Work collaboratively with other hotel staff to ensure that guests receive a seamless and enjoyable experience.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- One year of front desk or guest service experience required.
- Fluent English language skills required; other languages an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
