Environmental Monitoring Specialist

Piper Companies is currently seeking an Environmental Monitoring Specialist to join their team in Durham, North Carolina, as a key member of a multinational pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality and regulatory compliance of materials and products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct environmental sampling, test utility systems, and provide data entry and review.
- Support performance qualification activities, monitor personnel, and submit LIMS sample rejections.
- Author and summarize re-qualification, performance qualification, and special study protocols.
- Document control of logbooks and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- 1+ year of relevant post-degree work in Environmental Monitoring, Aseptic Manufacturing, or Microbiological Laboratory Operations.
- Basic understanding of GMPs and regulatory requirements as they apply to the vaccine, sterile pharmaceutical, or related fields.
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in a science discipline.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $30 - $35 / hour.
