About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Information Technology team at Christus Health. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multiple large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple large-scale projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Project Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage and coordinate with stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, vendors, and customers.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring the project is delivered with minimal disruptions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards, and that all project documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Communication: Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor project team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to deliver the project.
  • Vendor Management: Manage and coordinate with vendors, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, and that all deliverables are received on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Project Closure: Ensure that all project deliverables are completed, and that all project documentation is accurate and complete, before closing the project.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in an Information Systems environment.
  • Experience: At least six years of experience working on information technology project teams, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Certifications: PMI Certification is strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, including project planning, risk management, quality assurance, and team management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
