Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a LPN, you will provide high-quality patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment: Assist with data collection and provide feedback to the Registered Nurse to enhance clinical decisions about treatments and nursing interventions.
- Planning: Provide feedback to the Registered Nurse in the development of nursing diagnoses and carry out the established plan of care.
- Implementation: Carry out therapeutic interventions established in the interdisciplinary plan of care, implementing interventions with safety, skill, and efficiency.
- Evaluation: Provide real-time feedback to the Registered Nurse in the evaluation of interventions and treatments and how they affect patient health status and expected outcomes.
- Quality of Care: Support the evaluation of care activities, education, and practice environments to ensure the provision of safe, quality care.
- Education: Participate in educational activities to improve clinical knowledge and enhance role performance.
- Collegiality: Share knowledge, skills, and observations with colleagues and others, serving as a team member on assigned unit.
- Licensure or other certifications: Current State LPN License.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED and LPN diploma and Licensure.
- Experience: New graduate LPNs or those with less than one year of experience will be referred to the LPN residency program.
- Preferred Licensure or other certifications: None specified.
- Preferred Education: None specified.
- Preferred Experience: Previous experience in a clinical setting, with a minimum of 2 years experience preferred.
- Weight Lifted: Up to 100 lbs, Occasionally 0-30% of time.
- Weight Carried: Up to 50 lbs, Occasionally 0-30% of time.
- Vision: Moderate, Frequently 31-65% of time.
