Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Before and Aftercare Programs to oversee the daily operations of our before and aftercare programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and safe operation of these programs, while also providing a positive and engaging experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the before and aftercare programs, including staff supervision and student management.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
  • Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with parents and guardians to ensure smooth transitions and communication.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and progress.
  • Collaborate with other school administrators to ensure alignment with school policies and procedures.
  • Develop and manage budgets for before and aftercare programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in childcare management, with a focus on before and aftercare programs.
  • Special certifications, such as CPR and First Aid, preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions

The Director of Before and Aftercare Programs will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with frequent interactions with students, staff, and parents. The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Physical Demands

The position requires frequent standing, walking, and bending, as well as the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. The Director of Before and Aftercare Programs must be able to move quickly and safely in response to emergencies.
