Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Glacier Hills Senior Living Community in Ann Arbor, MI. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the admission, transfer, and discharge process for residents.
  • Assist residents with daily living functions, such as dental care, feeding, bathing, dressing/undressing, nail care, hair care, and shaving, according to their expressed preferences.
  • Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
  • Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed, including daily Range of Motion Exercises, and record data as instructed.
  • Answer resident calls promptly and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current, unencumbered, active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant in this state or certificate of completion of a state-approved nurse aide training program.
  • Minimum of one year of experience within a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or with the geriatric population.
  • Superior customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to ongoing change and work in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
