Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Pain Territory Manager to join our sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales objectives for Surgical Pain products, including On-Q and Ambit Pump Pumps. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and business leaders in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and clinics in your assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets for Surgical Pain products in your territory.
  • Territory Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, therapists, nurses, and other clinical decision-makers in your territory.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical developments and trends in pain management, and apply this knowledge to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with customers, colleagues, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel up to 50% of the time, including overnights, to cover your territory and meet with customers.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least four years of demonstrated success in sales, with at least two years in medical sales calling on surgeons, hospitals, and ASCs.
  • Clinical Experience: At least one year of experience in an operating room setting.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of hospital/ASC buying processes, GPOs, IDNs, and distributors, as well as healthcare reimbursement methodologies.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnights.
  • Computer Skills: Experience working with PC-based applications (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Clinical Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical terminology and clinical practices.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Bonuses: Uncapped sales commissions.
