About the Role

Avanos Medical is seeking an experienced Medical Device Sales Executive to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Medical Device Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling Surgical Pain products, including On-Q and Ambit Pump Pumps, to healthcare professionals and business leaders in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and clinics in a geographic territory.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with surgeons, physicians, therapists, nurses, clinicians, department decision makers, and/or administrators within assigned accounts or markets. The successful candidate will also be present during surgical procedures to answer product-related questions in an O.R. setting and close new sales opportunities and generate new customer leads while actively protecting existing market share.

Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, and at least four years of demonstrated success in sales, with at least two of those years in medical sales calling on surgeons, hospitals, and ASCs. Experience in an operating room setting and understanding of the hospital/ASC buying process are also essential.

A competitive salary is offered for this role, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous 401(k) employer match of 100% of each pretax dollar contributed on the first 4% and 50% of the next 2% of pay contributed with immediate vesting. Benefits are offered on day one, and uncapped sales commissions are available.
