Industrial Safety Specialist

Clean Harbors, a leading industrial cleaning and environmental services company, is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees and clients in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular health and safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Develop and implement safety training programs for employees to promote a positive safety culture and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure their safety requirements are met and provide guidance on best practices for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Develop and maintain safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as industrial safety, environmental compliance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, clients, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
