Core Responsibilities:
- Establish communication and coordinate all necessary assessments for the pre-employment process.
- Designate start dates, oversee unit number allocations, and manage training for new hires.
- Participate in corporate events, transportation expos, and CDL training institutions for recruitment initiatives.
- Monitor and manage all Learning Management System (LMS) training assignments and Driver Qualification records for tracking and development.
- Serve as the primary contact for reporting and support.
- Provide cross-departmental assistance as required.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation, safety, or regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of federal and state safety regulations pertaining to FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and onboard telematics systems.
Work Environment:
- Office setting with physical demands including prolonged periods of sitting and computer usage.
- Candidate should be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds and utilizing standard office equipment.
Operational Hours:
- Standard weekday business hours with occasional on-call responsibilities.
