About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Communications to lead the communications efforts for our Studio Operations team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a unified communications strategy that strengthens collaboration, ensures consistent messaging, and builds a stronger, more recognizable brand for Studio Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Communications Strategy: Create a comprehensive communications plan that aligns with the goals and objectives of Studio Operations, and ensures consistent messaging across all teams and departments.
  • Lead Communications Team: Establish and lead a central communications team dedicated to developing and sharing the story of Studio Operations, and ensure that all communications are consistent, aligned, and effective.
  • Foster Collaboration and Information Sharing: Reduce friction points and enhance the cohesiveness of operations and programs through improved communication practices, and ensure that all initiatives and efforts within each group are effectively communicated.
  • Establish Unified Identity: Create a clear and consistent communications strategy that includes content programming and clear audience targeting, and improve the effectiveness of communications by ensuring that the right messages reach the right audiences at the right times.
Requirements
  • Creative Mindset: Proven experience in creating compelling stories and messages, and a strong understanding of branding and audience targeting.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments, and a proven track record of developing and implementing effective communications strategies.
  • Leadership Experience: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage a high-performing team, and a proven track record of leading communications teams.
  • Education and Experience: Public Relations, English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
