Job Overview

This role will directly support strategic and large client sales efforts in addition to leading a highly talented, solution-oriented Sales Engineering team that supports new client sales and existing client cross-sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the global sales engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Engage with strategic clients and prospects to deliver customized payment processing solutions, demonstrations of i2c's capabilities, and ongoing support as clients expand their relationship with i2c.
  • Collaborate with Global Product Management colleagues, the Sales organization, and our Client Engagement Team to align sales engineering demos, knowledge, and support with the needs of these partner organizations.
  • Develop and execute technical sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.
  • Engage with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the creation of technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in sales engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong technical background in fintech, payments, banking, or related industries, ideally with a deep understanding of delivering payment processing in a B2B SaaS model.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40-50%, mostly domestically.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
