Position Summary:
As a Clinical Technology Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting surgical teams by providing expert consultation and assistance during procedures to optimize the use of our innovative IGS products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Offering on-site expertise and problem-solving support to medical professionals during surgical operations.
  • Conducting thorough analyses to troubleshoot and resolve product-related issues.
  • Guiding Radiology personnel in executing essential scans prior to surgical interventions.
  • Training and educating hospital staff, including OR teams and Biomedical personnel, on the effective use of IGS technologies.
  • Designing and implementing training programs for hospital staff to facilitate in-house education.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for customers, ensuring satisfaction and identifying opportunities for service enhancements.
  • Collaborating with various stakeholders, including senior consultants and account managers, on market initiatives and product development projects.
  • Utilizing your engineering knowledge to suggest product improvements as part of our quality enhancement efforts.
  • Participating in industry events to showcase and promote our IGS offerings.
  • Staying informed about advancements in Brainlab products and competitive technologies through continuous learning.
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction in technical support by adhering to established quality standards.
  • Assisting with network troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
  • Conducting advanced technical diagnostics, including audio, video, and network signal analysis, to resolve complex system challenges.
  • Performing additional duties as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with enterprise-level server, network, or virtualization infrastructures.
  • The ability to perform under pressure while managing complex tasks efficiently.
  • Strong technical proficiency in analog and digital electronics relevant to audiovisual systems.
  • Familiarity with DICOM, HL7, and EMH/EHR workflows is advantageous.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical support capacity, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other PC software applications.
  • A self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with a proven ability to make independent decisions.
