Position Overview
The Facilities Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and assessing the performance of vendors, construction projects, installations, repairs, and the maintenance of all facility structures, systems, and equipment. This role acts as the primary contact for Facilities in the absence of senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Fosters the goals of the Facilities Management department by selecting, inspiring, and training skilled team members.
- Guides the activities of assigned Facilities Management personnel by effectively communicating and providing direction to meet departmental objectives.
- Oversees daily operations within the department.
- Plans and manages requests for corrective, emergency, and preventive maintenance and repairs of buildings and structural facilities.
- Organizes and supervises the work of maintenance crews.
- Monitors productivity and quality of work performed.
- Instructs, trains, counsels, and disciplines staff in the proper execution of their responsibilities.
- Ensures compliance with regulations in all aspects of assigned tasks.
- Maintains up-to-date and orderly documentation of preventive maintenance systems.
- Oversees compliance with established plans.
- Ensures timely procurement and security of materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Conducts and participates in departmental staff meetings.
- Performs related duties as necessary. All responsibilities outlined here are considered essential functions of the role.
- Associate's Degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 4-6 years of pertinent experience and 0-2 years of leadership or management experience required.
- Experience in facilities and maintenance preferred.
- Background in a healthcare environment preferred.
The salary range for this position is $70,470-$116,870 per year. This range represents a good faith estimate of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful candidate and may be adjusted in the future based on various factors such as location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget, and internal equity.
