Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to all staff members, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and excellence throughout the community.
  • Staff Management: Oversee the recruitment, training, and retention of qualified staff members.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Problem-Solving: Develop and implement effective solutions to address any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Resident Relations: Address resident concerns and complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive resident experience.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Executive Director in a medium to large community with Assisted Living and Memory Care.
  • Must hold a current Virginia Assisted Living license or Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) certification.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Experience in developing strategies and plans.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and measures of performance.
