The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and will be responsible for meticulously proofreading all written content, including product materials, spec sheets, instruction manuals, blogs, social media posts, and other communication materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain content standards and guidelines for proofreading and reviewing content
  • Conduct quality assurance checks of content to ensure standards and guidelines are being followed
  • Review and edit company-wide materials, including product specifications, instruction manuals, marketing materials, and social media content
  • Develop content for blogs, product descriptions, social media, and instructional materials, ensuring alignment with Oceania's branding
  • Collaborate with the design team on layouts and visual aesthetics
  • Test and review website and mobile layouts, ensuring smooth user experiences across platforms
  • Provide suggestions on improving user experience related to content presentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in content editing, proofreading, or related roles
  • Demonstrated obsession with detail—a sharp eye for grammar, punctuation, and syntax is critical
  • Experience in UX and content creation across various platforms
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and working on a computer

Occasional travel may be required
