Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contents Technician to join our team at All County Environmental. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for the careful packing, labeling, and storage of personal and business property affected by water, fire, mold, or other damage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Packing: Carefully and securely pack contents from homes or businesses, ensuring items are protected from damage during transport and storage.
  • Labeling: Accurately label all packed items with necessary information, including item description, condition, and location within the storage facility.
  • Inventory Documentation: Assist in documenting the packed items, including recording details for inventory tracking purposes.
  • Storage Management: Organize and store packed items in the warehouse or storage facility, ensuring that items are stored in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure that packing and storage tasks are completed efficiently and according to company protocols.
  • Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with clients to answer questions or address concerns related to the packing and storage of their belongings.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations.
Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Basic communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
  • Capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in various environments, including those affected by water, fire, and mold.
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
