Chinquapin Trust Company functions as a private trust entity that oversees a sophisticated investment portfolio, financial reporting, tax compliance, and various services for its clientele. Our clients encompass individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and private foundations.
POSITION SUMMARY
The IT Support Analyst is responsible for providing daily technical assistance and support to the Chinquapin Trust Company team and its clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn various IT technologies, manage daily technical support requirements, and contribute significantly to special IT-related initiatives. This role offers a hybrid work environment, combining in-office presence with remote work based on current IT demands and projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installing and configuring software on both workstations and servers.
- Preparing and setting up laptops, monitors, docking stations, and other essential equipment for new employees.
- Providing technical support to team members and clients both on-site and remotely, utilizing various access methods.
- Developing and maintaining technical procedures and documentation.
- Collaborating with software and hardware vendors to resolve product-related issues.
- Assisting team members and clients in understanding key application functionalities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience delivering technical support to end-users.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Experience with macOS and iOS, including skills in application installation, troubleshooting permissions issues, and applying software updates.
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as C# .NET, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- The ability to work independently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
- Understanding of database management and SQL report development.
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to think critically when troubleshooting technical challenges.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Background in a financial services environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
