The Aftermarket Services Manager will oversee the leadership and performance of team members across both technical and administrative domains.

This role operates at the critical junction of technical and business operations.

The Aftermarket Services Manager is responsible for driving the aftermarket business, providing leadership across the service center, parts distribution, and administrative functions, while maintaining robust communication with department heads.

The ideal candidate is analytical, possesses a positive attitude, and demonstrates a strong willingness to learn. Comfort with financial oversight and P&L responsibilities is essential. Proficiency with various IT tools and systems is expected. The candidate should be pragmatic in managing escalations within legal frameworks. As a dynamic leader, effective communication across teams is crucial. A proactive and methodical approach to understanding the repair process is necessary, along with the ability to translate variations in repair activity and productivity into actionable solutions to maintain service delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consistent service lead times and quality of repairs.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Czinger Vehicles and the retail dealer network service personnel.
  • Manage resource capacity (both technical and non-technical) at each stage of the repair process, supported by a clear and collaborative decision-making framework.
  • Master the management of physical flows, system/ERP processes, and reporting to identify any deviations.
  • Anticipate seasonal fluctuations in repair activity based on historical data.
  • Enhance the skills and versatility of technical resources through targeted training.
  • Master the various aspects of the repair process, including flow management, work in progress, batch processing, priority management, and standardization.
  • Ensure strict adherence to established procedures, quality monitoring, and technical guidelines.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement corresponding processes, including best practices from different markets.
  • Maintain the organization of the dealer workshop, including facilities, equipment, and tools.
  • Monitor daily repair activity and performance metrics (service rates, productivity, and repair quality).
  • Stay informed about all relevant federal, state, and local regulations affecting operations.
  • Implement a shared decision-making process understood by all teams to initiate necessary corrective actions for sustained performance.
  • Facilitate market communication across the decentralized network; collaborate with local delegates and oversee network activity.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Education/Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Automotive After Sales Service Manager or Director role.
  • Exceptional communication skills; multilingual abilities are advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating accountability and integrity.
  • A strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in recruitment processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A customer-centric approach with a high level of professionalism, capable of engaging with diverse groups.
