- Calculate and coordinate fees for treatment
- Present cost of service, insurance coverage, and payment options
- Provide information on third-party financing
- Build strong professional relationships with patients through follow-up calls and coordination of future orthodontic starts
- Monitor patient experience and serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries and resolutions
- Greet and welcome patients to ensure a positive experience
- Participate in marketing initiatives to increase recalls and consultations
- Track department performance and strategize for improvement
- Provide consistent end-of-day reporting to the Regional Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum 4-5 years of dental front office experience
- Warm, friendly, and positive personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced knowledge of dental terminology
- Knowledge of dental insurance processes, billing, pre-authorizations, and eligibility
- Knowledge of Denti-cal, PPO, and HMO insurances
- Ability to present financial arrangements
- Ability to proactively address patient concerns and provide resolutions with manager support when required
- Computer literacy and proficiency in dental software programs
