Key Responsibilities:


As a software engineer, you will collaborate with a team to design, develop, test, and maintain software products for Air Mobility C-130J and C-5.

You will be expected to work efficiently within a configuration-managed software development environment throughout all phases of the project life cycle.

Adherence to stringent company and program-specific software development processes (PM 4001) is essential. Proficiency in software development, including requirements analysis, high-level and detailed design, coding, integration, and testing, is required.

This role demands excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to foster consensus among peers while building strong relationships across Agile Development Teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with RTOS (real-time operating systems)
  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering, systems engineering, computer engineering, or electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Ada95 and/or Python.
  • Knowledge of DO-178B/C
  • Experience with compilers, debuggers, and static/dynamic code analysis tools
  • Familiarity with test tools (e.g., VectorCAST)
  • LINK 16 experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour days, with three days off per week.
