Territory Manager

At Siplast, we're building a winning team that puts the customer at the center of every decision. As a Territory Manager, you'll be responsible for promoting and selling Siplast products to major owners, architects, roofing consultants, and contractors. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and the ability to establish and maintain business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell Siplast products through specification selling, identifying prospective jobs and decision-making individuals, and providing timely follow-up.
- Develop and maintain a quality select roofing contractor and lightweight contractor program, based on knowledge of contractor business and general market knowledge.
- Provide technical services, including development and review of roofing specifications, participation in pre-job meetings, and basic troubleshooting.
- Manage sales budgets, forecasting, and related business expenses, ensuring all territory expenses are within defined limits and policies are followed.
- Complete administrative and electronic reports, including itinerary, expense reports, prospect lists, job quotes, shipping forecasts, call reports, activity reports, guarantee forms, and factory warehouse inventory reports.
- Administer pricing guidelines, maximizing price on each job, and responsible determination for required pricing deviations.
- Assist the Credit Manager in maintaining all accounts in a current or acceptable status.
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years of relevant experience in the roofing, building, or construction industry
- 1+ years of experience managing client/customer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication skills both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Ability to have and maintain a credit card for business-related expenses
